The Gianni Rodari book series, designed in collaboration with XxY Studio for RCS Corriere della Sera, was created to celebrate the centenary of Gianni Rodari's birth in 2020. Rodari, one of Italy’s most beloved children's authors, is renowned for his imaginative and whimsical stories, which have left a lasting impact on children's literature and earned him the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award. Each cover in this special series features an illustration taken directly from the book it represents, perfectly capturing the essence of Rodari’s enchanting narratives. The design approach honors the playful and creative spirit of Rodari’s work while creating a cohesive and visually striking collection that celebrates his enduring legacy.
